MotionsCloud officially announces its cooperation with Bosch for the integration of AI-based automated damage assessment and Bosch damage detection with a fully connected, AIoT solution. The combined solutions not only enables a reliable damage detection but also an
efficient repair and claims management.
MotionsCloud provides a customized AI damage assessment engine that uses AI computer vision technologies to identify damages and make a damage estimate report in minutes based on photos of damaged vehicles, which has been proven in the test field and insurance use
cases.
Under the umbrella of RideCare insight, Bosch provides reliable, accurate, and integrated real-time information about smoking, damages, and harsh driving events to fleet managers and mobility service providers both for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
By combining the two solutions not only the repair process can be handled more efficiently but also the claim of new damage becomes easier as sufficient information and evidence are available.
Alexis Hanke, CSO of MotionsCloud, mentioned, “Partnership with Bosch is a very straightforward decision, as both organizations share the same objectives and values toward the future of mobility. We are super excited that there will be more fleet operators who could enjoy the benefits of our combined solutions that can speed up the claim process and the recovery of damaged vehicles.”
According to the statistics, there are over 30 million in-used commercial vehicles and fleets in Europe, with an accidental rate of around 20%. Therefore, getting 1st hand insights about new damage and speed up the subsequent processes helps to save time and money. (source: European Commission Mobility and Transport)
“If we can make shared mobility services more appealing, as the vehicle exterior and interior are always in an impeccable condition and at the same time we can help the providers of such shared mobility to become more efficient and keep their fleet up and running, this can really make an impact. By combining the MotionsCloud and Bosch solution, we create transparency that was not available before.” – Andrea Brueckner, Chief Product Owner of RideCare insight.
